No Planet B Conference Titles

Concept Treatment

The visual component for my thesis on Proceduralism in Motion Design is an opening title sequence for a fictitious conference on climate change titled No Planet B. The conference is specifically for the design and technology industries with presentations from various experts, activists, artists, and designers on how they can contribute to solving climate change.

Using procedural design techniques, this project consists of organic imagery inspired by microscopic photography, that represents various aspects of the planet that are affected by climate change. A monochromatic color grade and electronic drone music bed elicits a cinematic and dramatic tone to suggest the importance of the conference’s content.

The typography aims to draw the audience’s attention through vibrant colors and energetic glitch aesthetic elements and animations.
